1 Club News Everyone is welcome to any or all of the great clubs we have at Midwest. They are all FREE and you will receive a 15% discount on all regular priced notions, vacuum bags, belts, and cards purchased the day of Club. Bring your projects finished or not to share with the group! Come and bring a friend. Embroidery Club All machines welcome Mary Boone This club is an opportunity for all to come no matter what type of embroidery machine you have. All brands are welcome. Embroidery is pretty much the same on any machine. If your friend has a different kind of machine, have her/him come with you. I am making a couple changes in the Monday and Saturday embroidery clubs. We will still meet on the same days, but the Sat club will be at 9:30 instead of 10:30 A.M. This will give us time to work on a project. The Bits and Pieces will follow embroidery club at 1:30 P.M. Whenever possible the projects will be a part of both. The following projects are planned for this fall. You will need your sewing machine and embroidery unit for the Saturday clubs if you want to work on the project. Don’t forget your sewing supplies also. Hope to see you at club. I will have a new project every month and instructions to take home. Bring your show and tell items and put your name in for the door prize. Sometimes we will do the project at the store and I will always let you know when to bring your machine. We share ideas and tips at every club meeting and we always make new friends. You do not need an embroidery machine to participate in this Club! If we do some embroidery and you do not have a machine, I will make arrangements for you to use a store machine. Wouldn’t it be fun to try out some of the machines in the store? See you at club. Monday , Sept 15th — 1 pm Downtown Monday, Oct 20th—1 pm Downtown Monday, Nov17th—1pm Downtown Embroidery Quilt Club Virginia Jennings This club is free and meets the first Thursday of every month at 9:30 am at the Downtown store, 111 Pattie. Some of us are working on the Simon’s Folly quilt and some on the Latte Quilt. More and more quilts are having some embroidery in them , but you do not need to do embroidery to join this club. We meet to fellowship and encourage one another in whatever quilt we want to do. You will see some beautiful quilts being made and we want to see what you are working on. You will get new ideas and new techniques; sharing of patterns and fabric is encouraged. Each meeting there will be a door prize, so be sure to get your name into the drawing. If you have been thinking of buying an embroidery machine, now would be a good time. Not only will you learn how to use the machine, but have an Heirloom quilt to show for your efforts. At Midwest Sewing you will find Embroidery/sewing and Embroidery only machines at all price ranges and terms to fit your budget. Please call the 111 Pattie Store at 262- 3438 or the West Midwest Store at 722- 9737 to sign up for this class .
